In 2005, Coach Malone quickly redeemed his first season as head coach by taking the team to their first ever
undefeated regular season (10-0) and ended the year in Seattle Washington at 13-1. UCA’s super speedy receiver Anthony
Lampkin joined the roster and immediately made a huge impact and received the new comer of the year trophy. The Rhinos
were only, one game away from playing for the NAFL's overall championship, which was televised on ESPN 2. The only loss
of the season was unfortunate as the Rhinos were forced in a last minute league decision to travel to Seattle, WA and had
to play without a few starters who could not afford to make the road trip on such short notice.
