10 YEARS OF RHINOS FOOTBALL
The Arkansas Rhinos football team will be holding practice Monday and Wednesday At Booker Elementary for a two-hour workout.

ARKANSAS RHINOS FOOTBALL TRYOUT THIS SATURDAY
The Arkansas Rhinos are continuing effort to upgrade their talent level. The Rhinos Football team will hold open tryouts on Saturday, Mar. 6th at Jacksonville High School indoor Facility, @ 11am to 4pm. Registration is $30 and is payable by cash or money order to the Arkansas Rhinos Registration for the March 6th open tryouts is broken down by position. Quarterbacks, wide receivers and defensive backs will begin registering at 11:00 a.m. with workouts starting at 12:00 p.m. Offensive and defensive linemen, fullbacks and linebackers will register at 11:00 a.m. and test at 12:00 p.m., while kickers register at 1:00 p.m. All players will be evaluated in the 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle and standing broad jump. Selected players who exceed the Rhinos testing standards will be invited to participate in an elite workout. Rhinos Are Looking Forward to the 2010 Season
The Arkansas Rhinos' 2009 season was good (6-4). We were disappointed that we did not make the playoffs but we were very proud to have Damien Dunning, Daniel Brown, Antone Lewis, Matt Stewart, Stewart Franks, Enrico Wilkins and Tyler Knight nominated to the All Star Team. We were well represented in Miami, FL by Damien Dunning who threw an 8-yard touchdown and Stewart Franks received honorable mention for his tackle, interception with 12-yards gained and defense of two passes. We already anticipating the 2010 season with upcoming tryouts in late February.

Rhinos fall at home, survive sideline scare
One of the league’s most intense rivalries, the 4-2 Arkansas Rhinos took the home stance against the undefeated Nashville Storm on Saturday night, falling 22-6. Another one of Nashville’s five wins thus far this season came in a 33-23 victory over the Rhinos on Aug. 1 at their home field. A series lined 7-6 in favor of the Rhinos, the Storm has won all six of its games against the Rhinos consecutively.

Rhinos roll over Jaguars, 35-0
After a woeful offensive performance in their loss to the St. Louis Bulldogs a week earlier, the Arkansas Rhinos took their frustrations out on the hopelessly out manned Arkansas Jaguars on Saturday night, improving to 3-1 with a lopsided 35-0 victory. The will be on the road to play Nashville Storm.

RHINOS RETURN HOME
The Arkansas Rhinos return home to take on the NE Arkansas Jaguars this Saturday, July 25th @ Jacksonville Middle School (Red Devil Stadium) @ 7:00 p.m. After suffering a 16 –6 lost to St Louis Bulldogs.

Confident Rhinos earned a road win against Memphis Panthers
Arkansas Rhinos traveled to Memphis to take on the 0 & 3 Panthers. From the start the Rhinos were in great field position after a 52yd kick returned former Mississippi Valley State All American Tyler Knight who set the tone for a close and exciting game. After a six play drive James Bellar put the Rhinos on the board first with a 43yd field goal, 3 – 0 Rhinos.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY
Fourth of July brings on the cheerful times of Red, White and Blue. With barbecues, picnics, parades and fireworks lined up, the reasons to celebrate are many. The Arkansas Rhinos would like to wish everyone happiness and good times for their Fourth of July.

Rhinos Prepare for First Home Game
The 2009 Arkansas Rhinos football team will play its first home game on Saturday, July 11th, at 7 p.m. against the Arkansas Wildcats at Jacksonville Middle School (Red Devil Stadium), Jacksonville, AR. This will be the first meeting between these two Arkansas teams since 2006 when the Rhinos took on the Northwest Wildcats. The Rhinos look to improve their offense which struggled in week one against Memphis Panthers with 173 total offense.

MEET THE ARKANSAS RHINOS
Come to CiCi’s Pizza in Jacksonville 120 John Haroin DR. on Saturday, June 20th for a special event: “Meet The Arkansas Rhinos”. Each member of the 2009 Rhinos – including Mississippi Valley State All America Tyler “Superman” Knight, The University of Memphis’ Haracio Colen winner of the ESPN The Magazine Courage Award, and a host of talented players will be on-site to sign autographs and meet fans. Those in attendance will also have an opportunity to purchase Arkansas Rhinos 2009 season tickets. The season tickets are for five Rhinos’ home games for as little as $25 or single game tickets for $6 dollars each. Fans of all ages can also enjoy music, Rhinos’ mascot Rocco will be there and other entertainment for kids of all ages. ARKANSAS RHINOS REVEAL NEW LOGO
Today the owner of the Arkansas Rhinos, Oscar Malone, has unveiled the new comprehensive brand that includes a new logo and new uniforms for the 2009 season. The new Rhinos logo will be featured on each side of the helmet. This is the most significant change for the Rhino-brand since the logo was first placed on the team’s helmet in 2001.

STRONG WINDS COULD NOT STOP THE RHINOS
The Arkansas Rhinos had a nice beginning at rookie-camp. There was a lot of energy and new faces. Despite the cold weather, which kept the players moving around, mainly to stay warm, The Rhinos had a good practice. Head Coach Jamie Washington was pleased with the effect from the rookies especially 6-ft, 210 pound Tyler ("Superman") Knight, he’s the biggest of the defensive backs and that size allowed him to standout in the first of rookie-camp.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
Today the Arkansas Rhinos will start there ninth season in the North American Football League (NAFL) at today’s practice. First year Head Coach Jamie Washington is excited about stepping on the field as the Rhinos leader The Rhinos finished the season 6-3 without a playoff appearance. This season Arkansas has loaded up on some great talent throughout Central Arkansas.

SUPERMAN RETURNS
Rhinos signed former Mississippi Valley State star Tyler Knight. Knight joins the Rhinos with an impressive resume. The 6-0 210 SR from Little Rock, AR McClean H.S was Named All-America Team December 12, 2005 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) SWAC Defensive Player of the Week numerous times Tyler Knight received 2005 Football Gazette NCAA I-AA 1 st team All-American honors, as announced by Don Hansen of the National Weekly Football Gazette.

A NEW BEGINNING
The Arkansas Rhinos football team will practice for the first time for the 2009 season on Monday, April 6th. It will be a two-hour workout @ Booker Elementary. It will be the Rhinos first time on the field under their new Head Coach, Jamie Washington. Coach Washington has served the Rhinos as their Defensive Coach for the last three seasons.

The Arkansas Rhinos Football Club is looking for high-energy, experienced Emcees for the 2008 Arkansas Rhinos Football season. The Rhinos' mascot must be comfortable speaking in front of large crowds, must have a great personality, a flexible schedule to work all Rhinos home games and events.

Rhinos Football Scrimmage Open to Public
The first open scrimmages for the Arkansas Rhinos football team will be held this Thursday, May. 29 @ Booker Arts Magnet Elementary School (2016 Barber St, Little Rock, AR 72206). Head coach Oscar Malone is encouraging all fans to attend the Thursday’s scrimmages. The scrimmages start @ 7:00 p.m. gates will open at 6 p.m

RHINOS MEDIA DAY
The Arkansas Rhinos Football Club Media Day will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008 beginning at 9 a.m.at the Burger King Restaurant located at 2010 John Harden Dr., Jacksonville, AR. This event signals the "kickoff" of our eighth football season. We take pride in providing you with wall-to-wall pigskin content over the course of the next six months. We are excited to be in Jacksonville this season.

RHINOS FIND NEW HOME IN JACKSONVILLE
The Arkansas Rhinos have moved next-door from North Little Rock to Jacksonville where they will be playing their games at Red Devil Stadium, Jacksonville Middle School. The Rhinos have been based out of the Little Rock and North Little Rock area since 2001. The Arkansas Rhinos are a Semi Professional team in the North America Football League (NAFL).

RHINESTONE AUDITION
The Arkansas Rhinos are in search of beautiful and dynamic women to become a part of the NAFL's elite Arkansas Rhinos Cheerleaders. No previous dance/cheer experience required. Pre-audition workshops are held the week prior to tryouts. They are designed to help you prepare for auditions so you can look and feel your best.

RHINOS TO TWISTERS
Ben and Sam Witcher moved up to the Arkansas Twisters an AFL2 team after playing three seasons with the semi-pro team The Arkansas Rhinos. The Witcher’s helped the Rhinos make the league title game in '05 under the leadership of head coach Oscar Malone and earning All-Star honors as kick returners, corners, and safety.

Become A Volunteer Today
The Arkansas Rhinos are looking for a few good volunteers to help the Rhinos staff. We have many volunteer opportunities available throughout the year so we encourage you to join us this season. BOWLING FOR RHINOS
The partnership formed between the Arkansas Rhinos and the Little Rock Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers proved to be a great one. On Thursday June 21, the Rhinos teamed with the Zoo Keepers for the Bowling for Rhinos charity event at Millennium Bowl. The event drew all kinds of participants including some Arkansas Rhinos football players. Charity Dawson, the event coordinator, announced that this year’s event was by far the biggest. Along with the bowling, there was a silent auction that featured all kinds of items. As a sponsor, the Rhinos donated an Arkansas Razorback golf bag. Once again the event was a great success thanks to all supporters.

RHINESTONE AUDITION

PRE-AUDITION WORKSHOP WHEN: April 20, 2008 WHERE: FLIP OVER GYMNASIUM TIME: •Registrations:3:30-4:30p.m. •Audition: 4:30 - 6:30p.m. WEAR: Comfortable dance attire/workout clothes and aerobic/dance sneakers. BRING: Valid photo ID, water bottle, sweat towel. Pre-audition workshops are held the week prior to tryouts. They are designed to help you prepare for auditions so you can look and feel your best. Candidates will be given an overview of the cheerleader program from the Coordinator, gaining a better perspective of what to expect in the year 2008 as an ARKANSAS RHINOS Cheerleader Meet new friends • Learn basic high kick technique • Learn dance combinations similar to those that will be taught during auditions. Candidates must be 18 years or older as of July 1, 2008 with a High School diploma or GED and have means of transportation to and from rehearsals, games, and appearances. Candidates who are 17 years of age and/or a graduating senior still attending High School during the audition process, but will be 18 years by July 1st, will need to submit an additional waiver. These candidates will not be permitted to audition without written consent from her parents and High School Principal along with a transcript showing proof of graduation date.
