PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
Today the Arkansas Rhinos will start there ninth season in the North American Football League (NAFL) at today’s practice. First year Head Coach Jamie Washington is excited about stepping on the field as the Rhinos leader The Rhinos finished the season 6-3 without a playoff appearance. This season Arkansas has loaded up on some great talent throughout Central Arkansas.
The newcomers will be the first to start a little early as they get a taste of Rhinos football without the presence of the veterans. All eyes will be focus on rookie linebacker Tyler Knight a former Mississippi Valley State stand out. Arkansas has 28 returning players from last season and looks to make a strong run to become champion. First year offensive coordinator Kenny Hill will have one of his offensive weapons Brendon Medcalf back from a season ending foot injury against the Memphis Panthers. The first practice of the year is very important for the Rhinos as they look to the season opener against Northeast Arkansas Jaguars on June 27, in Jonesboro, AR.
